Michael Price has served as President & Chief Executive Officer of First Commonwealth Financial Corporation since March 2012. He first joined the company in November 2007 as President of First Commonwealth Bank. Prior to his time at First Commonwealth, Mike worked at a larger financial institution in Ohio, where he served in a variety of roles, including: Bank Teller, Branch Manager, Lender, Head of Small Business and Regional CEO.
In addition to his professional responsibilities, Mike has had the opportunity to serve in a variety of industry and community endeavors. He is an Ecclesiastical Leader for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Mike currently serves as a director on the boards of Indiana Regional Medical Center and the Pennsylvania Bankers Association. He also serves on the Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. In addition, Mike has led fundraising campaigns and served with numerous community outreach efforts, including the American Heart Association, United Way, Boy Scouts, Junior Achievement, JARI (economic development agency in Johnstown, PA), Bishop McCort Catholic High School Board, Northern Kentucky Vision, and the Cincinnati Business Council.
Mike graduated from Westmont Hilltop High School in Johnstown, PA and attended Penn State University. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Utah, and he earned his MBA from Cleveland State University.
Mike and his wife, Heather, reside in Indiana, PA and have five daughters.
