David Hines founded ConsumerMedical in 1996 after twelve years in healthcare and information systems. The company’s clinical decision support model is based on the belief that high-quality, efficient, and excellent care can be achieved only when employees are well-informed about their options and actively participate in decisions relating to their care.
Now ConsumerMedical serves nearly two million consumers through some of the nation’s top employers. David continues to push the company to be a leader in medical decision support and expert medical opinion. He was awarded the Industry Innovator Award by The Institute for HealthCare Consumerism in 2015.
